Greenfield is an official tea of the 10th Chekhov Festival
The 10th Chekhov International Theatre Festival will take place in Moscow till the end of July. Greenfield is an official tea of the event.
“The Tempest” by William Shakespeare directed by Declan Donellan and performed by Russian actors is a joint project of Theatre Les Gemeaux (Paris, France) in cooperation with «Cheek by Jowl» (London, UK) specially prepared for the International Theatre Festival. The program of the Festival is divided into two parts - performances of foreign theatres and of the theatres of Moscow. Such famous and beloved masters of world theatre like Philippe Genty and Mathurin Bolz (France), Sylvie Guillem, Robert Lepage, Russell Maliphant and Matthew Bourne (UK), Romeo Castellucci (Italy) are on the list. Visitors will see three one-act ballets by Merce Cunningham, a modern American dance classics, who set them in different periods of his great career. Andy Warhol is an official decorator of “Rainforest”, one of the festival plays. Moses Pendleton, one of the most inventive and popular choreographers of the USA, the permanent head of Momix Dance Company, performs his latest work - “Botanica”.
Moscow theatres present the most interesting premieres of the last two seasons at the festival.
