Easter Cheer

Natural power and depth of excellent black tea from the best Indian estates are revealed in the rich bouquet of Greenfield Easter Cheer. Full, yet mild flavor play with multitude of complex notes. Bright aroma highlighted by warm vanilla wave and spicy citrus sparkles reminds of eternal renewal of rejoicing nature. A refreshing and invigorating tea.
About type of tea
In the days of daffodils and crocuses blooming two-week holidays start at school and children find basketfuls of sweets kindly hidden in nooks by the Easter Bunny and solemn organ music heralds the onset of Easter, the main Christian holiday.
In Christian tradition Easter symbolizes the triumph of life, the victory of light over the darkness. But even those who are far from religion celebrate this holiday as a symbol of winter ending and nature awakening that promises a new spring.
In modern England Easter is an enjoyable and happy holiday. The English put on their new clothes, greet each other with the words “Happy Easter”, decorate churches and houses with first flowers and always gather around the festive table.
Different parts of the country have different traditions: in Lancashire there is an Egg Run of painted Easter eggs, in Radley, near Oxford, there is a “temple hugging”, a tradition of parish to join hands and form a circle around the church. Some parts play football using a small wooden barrel with ale instead of a ball – and the barrel is surely drunk off when the game is over. And others dress up as of the Robin Hood era and arrange fight for the rabbit pie.
The Easter menu is the only thing that is the same all over England: baked lamb, smoked ham, painted eggs, salad and, of course, cross-buns with raisins, candy fruits and spices specially served on Easter Sunday with tea.
Greenfield Easter Cheer is based on this tradition: the composition of black tea with peels of orange and lemon, verbena, mint and vanilla perfectly combines with Easter bakery and creates a festive mood.
